There are 8 different qualities/rarities in Dark and Darker:
- Junk
- Poor
- Common
- Uncommon (+1 Enchantment)
- Rare (+2 Enchantment)
- Epic (+3 Enchantment)
- Legendary (+4 Enchantment)
- Unique (+5 Enchantment + New Appearance)
The quality of a weapon in Dark and Darker matters because the item gets stronger plus adds more enchantments to it the higher the quality is.
Individual Dark and Darker Weapons locked to specific classes
Individual weapons in Dark and Darker can only be used by specific classes. For example, the Arming Sword can be used by a Fighter or Ranger. The Falchion and the Longsword can only be used by the Fighter. The Rapier can be used by the Ranger and Rogue class in Dark and Darker. All bows are exclusive to the Ranger and magical weapons can only be used by the Wizard and Cleric.
Dark and Darker Unique Weapons
There are also Dark and Darker Unique Weapons in the game. They are very rare. You can only obtain the unique weapons from the High-Roller boss.
To enter the High-Roller dungeon you need to pay a fee of 100 gold. This is the difficult version of the dungeon. You need to be at least level 15 to be able to even enter the High-Roller dungeon. In the High-Roller dungeon in Dark and Darker the defeat-feeds and ingame timer are also deactivated. You will also encounter Elite and Nightmare grade monsters.
What is the benefit of High-Roller dungeons in Dark and Darker? You do get better drop rates for high quality items such as the unique weapons. You will have to defeat the bosses in the High-Roller dungeon to obtain an unique weapon. Good luck and happy hunting!
